Job summary

EDF power solutions in the UK is seeking a Solar and Storage Performance Analyst to optimise asset performance across our solar and battery storage portfolio, building models and tools and turning data insights into value.

You’ll work with Asset Management, Engineering and Maintenance to drive improvements, produce dashboards and reports, and support onboarding of new technologies, with hybrid work and regular visits to London, Durham or Edinburgh.

Qualifications

• Highly numerate with analytical and modelling experience.
• Degree-level qualification or recognised equivalent.
• Experience managing multiple activities and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using data analysis to identify trends, issues and improvement opportunities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance of solar and battery storage assets and support operational reporting.
• Develop and maintain tools, systems and models that support performance analysis and asset optimisation.
• Analyse asset performance data to identify underperformance, trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support the onboarding of new technologies, systems and renewable assets into operations.
• Produce performance reports, dashboards and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Validating and improving data quality across performance systems and reporting platforms.
• Work with Asset Management, Engineering and Maintenance teams to implement performance improvements.
• Supporting battery energy storage analysis, including availability, capacity and degradation assessments.
• Develop automation solutions and coding tools to improve monitoring and reporting processes.
• Investigating emerging technologies and recommending performance enhancements across the portfolio.
