Job summary

EDF power solutions in the UK is seeking a Solar and Storage Performance Analyst to lead detailed performance analysis across solar and battery storage assets, helping ensure they operate at their highest potential.

You’ll develop advanced models and automated tools, collaborate with Asset Management, Engineering and Maintenance, and drive improvements to support growth toward about 10GW by 2035, with hybrid working and regular office visits.

Qualifications

• Highly numerate analytical and modelling experience.
• Degree-level qualification or recognised equivalent.
• Experience managing multiple activities and priorities concurrently.
• Experience using data analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Ability to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance of solar and storage assets and support reporting.
• Develop and maintain tools, systems and models for performance analysis.
• Analyse asset data to identify underperformance, trends and opportunities.
• Support onboarding of new technologies and assets into operations.
• Produce performance reports, dashboards and presentations for stakeholders.
• Validate and improve data quality across performance systems and reports.
• Work with Asset Management, Engineering and Maintenance to implement improvements.
• Support battery energy storage analysis including availability, capacity and degradation.
• Develop automation tools to improve monitoring and reporting processes.
• Investigate emerging technologies and recommend performance enhancements.
