Job summary

EDF power solutions is seeking a Solar and Storage Performance Analyst to drive performance across our diverse solar and battery storage assets in the UK. The role focuses on developing models and tools, identifying optimisation opportunities and turning insights into measurable actions across an expanding portfolio aimed at growing to around 10GW by 2035.

Qualifications

• Highly numerate analytical and modelling experience.
• A degree-level qualification or recognised equivalent.
• Experience managing multiple activities and priorities concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using data analysis to identify trends, issues and improvement opportunities.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring the performance of solar and battery storage assets and supporting operational reporting activities.
• Developing and maintaining tools, systems and models that support performance analysis and asset optimisation.
• Analysing asset performance data to identify underperformance, trends and improvement opportunities.
• Supporting the onboarding of new technologies, systems and renewable assets into operations.
• Producing performance reports, dashboards and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Validating and improving data quality across performance systems and reporting platforms.
• Working with Asset Management, Engineering and Maintenance teams to implement performance improvements.
• Supporting battery energy storage analysis, including availability, capacity and degradation assessments.
• Developing automation solutions and coding tools to improve monitoring and reporting processes.
• Investigating emerging technologies and recommending performance enhancements across the portfolio.
