Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to support the construction of a major utility-scale Solar PV development in South Wales. This long-term contract role requires leadership on site, coordination of subcontractors, and rigorous adherence to HSE and quality standards.

Key duties include managing daily site activity, monitoring progress against the programme, and facilitating commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

• Experience managing utility-scale ground-mounted Solar PV sites.
• Proven track record coordinating subcontractors and site teams.
• Strong focus on HSE compliance and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site construction activity to meet programme milestones.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors and site teams on site.
• Monitor progress against the construction programme and adapt as needed.
• Manage site resources and upcoming works to avoid bottlenecks.
• Maintain strong HSE standards and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Review drawings, specifications and site documentation for changes.
• Coordinate with project management and engineering teams.
• Support commissioning and final project handover activities.
• Identify defects and drive corrective actions to closure.
