Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Site Supervisor for a utility-scale ground-mounted solar project in South Wales. This permanent role offers £45,000-£50,000 and involves supporting the Site Manager with supervising subcontractors, ensuring progress, quality and safe working practices on the build.

You will oversee site mobilisation, monitor drawings, conduct site and quality inspections, keep daily reports, manage deliveries, and ensure compliance with HSE requirements while coordinating with

Qualifications

• Recent utility-scale ground-mounted Solar PV supervision experience.
• Strong construction/site supervision background with civil, mechanical or electrical construction exposure.
• UK driving licence and ability to coordinate with subcontractors.
• SSSTS and safety certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervising construction teams and subcontractors.
• Monitoring work against drawings and specifications.
• Carrying out site and quality inspections.
• Recording progress and maintaining accurate daily reports.
• Monitoring materials and deliveries.
• Identifying defects and managing punch-list items.
• Supporting site mobilisation and construction planning.
• Ensuring site teams follow HSE requirements.
• Working closely with Site and Project Management.
