Job summary

JAM is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our delivery team on a major utility-scale ground-mounted Solar PV project in South Wales. You will supervise subcontractors and daily construction activity, ensuring safety, quality and programme requirements are met.

The role requires strong practical site supervision, civil/MEP construction background, and a Full UK driving licence. Relevant safety qualifications (SSSTS, CSCS/ECS, First Aid) are preferred; BESS experience could be

Qualifications

• Experience supervising subcontractors on civil/mechanical/electrical works
• Civil construction background with roads, drainage, foundations, structures and enabling works
• Ground-mounted solar PV project experience preferred
• Full UK driving licence required

Responsibilities

• Supervise subcontractors and construction teams
• Monitor works against drawings and specifications
• Support daily construction activities and site planning
• Carry out quality inspections
• Maintain site records and daily reports
• Monitor materials and site deliveries
• Identify defects and support snagging / punch-list close-out
• Support Site Manager with programme delivery
• Maintain high HSE standards on site
• Coordinate with wider site and project teams
• Experience on ground-mounted Solar PV projects
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Confidence supervising subcontractors
