Job summary

We Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced Renewables Site Supervisor to oversee ground-mounted solar PV projects in Milton Keynes. You will supervise subcontractors, track progress, and ensure safety, quality and timely delivery on site.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, toolbox talks, and acting as the main on-site contact. SMSTS and First Aid are essential, with IOSH/NEBOSH desirable for career advancement.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in site supervision, ideally within renewables or solar PV.
• Experience managing subcontractors on construction sites.
• SMSTS and First Aid essential.
• IOSH/NEBOSH desirable.
• Good understanding of UK construction and H&S regulations.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise subcontractors and monitor progress against project programmes.
• Carry out daily site inspections and ensure health & safety standards are maintained.
• Lead toolbox talks and maintain accurate site records.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure works meet project specifications.
• Identify and report any risks, delays or issues to the Project Manager.
• Act as the main point of contact for subcontractors and suppliers on site.
• Assist with client visits, snagging and quality checks.
