Job summary

We Build Recruitment is seeking a Renewables Project Manager in Milton Keynes to lead on-site delivery of ground-mounted solar PV projects. The role focuses on managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating contractors and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will bring 5+ years of site-based project management experience, strong leadership, and practical knowledge of UK construction and renewable energy regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in site-based project management.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
• SMSTS and First Aid essential.
• IOSH/NEBOSH desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Good understanding of UK construction and renewable energy regulations.
• Experience using MS Project and other site management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations and subcontractor activities.
• Coordinate site logistics, resources and project schedules.
• Act as the main on-site contact for clients, contractors and suppliers.
• Monitor progress, costs and project milestones.
• Ensure HSQE and CDM requirements are maintained across site.
• Carry out site inspections and address any issues or risks.
• Provide regular progress updates and reports to the Senior Project Manager.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging and project handover.
• Maintain accurate site records and project documentation.
