Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee utility-scale Solar PV and BESS construction across the UK. You will work with the Site Manager to keep teams coordinated and ensure progress meets safety and quality standards.

You will supervise work areas, check workmanship and support daily site activities. The role requires travel to projects nationwide and a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience on utility-scale solar PV construction projects.
• Experience coordinating site teams and monitoring subcontractor work.
• Strong focus on safety, workmanship and daily progress.
• Industry qualifications and valid supervisory certifications.
• Temporary Works Supervisor experience is advantageous.
• BESS experience is beneficial.
• Willingness to travel across the UK on projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise allocated work areas, site teams and subcontractor activities.
• Check work against agreed plans, quality standards and safe working procedures.
• Support site briefings, toolbox talks and daily coordination.
• Monitor progress and report defects, delays or resource requirements.
• Help coordinate materials, equipment and access for planned works.
