Job summary

Octopus Energy is expanding its Solar PV installation team across the UK. We are seeking a Roofer's labourer/Roofers mate to support installation teams, move materials, run cables and assist the Electrician on slate/tile roofs while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role offers a £30,000 base salary with overtime, a £2,500 annual KPI bonus, a company vehicle and a £25 weekly lunch allowance, plus London weighting if based within M25.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Roofers labourer/Roofers mate.
• Experience on slate/tile pitched roofs.
• Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques and safety practices.
• Experience working at height.

Responsibilities

• Assist Electrician in Solar PV installation and related works.
• Move and lift materials, run cables/conduit, and assist with waste removal.
