Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is expanding its Solar PV installation team across the UK. We are seeking an experienced Roofer/Roofer’s mate to assist in installing solar PV systems, moving materials, and supporting electricians while delivering high standards of safety and customer service.

You will work across the UK on slate/tile pitched roofs, gain training, and may receive a company vehicle and a performance-based bonus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Roofer's labourer or Roofers mate.
• Experience working on slate or tile pitched roofs.
• Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques and safety practices.
• Experience working at height and following safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Move and lift materials, run cables/conduit, grind tiles, waste removal, and assist Electrician in Solar installation.
