Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is expanding its Solar PV installation team across the UK. We seek an experienced Roofer's mate to assist in roof installations, move materials, and support electricians on site.

The role offers a £30,000 base salary with overtime, potential London weighting, plus a £2,500 annual KPI bonus, a company vehicle and benefits. We value autonomy and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Roofing labourer or Roofer's mate.
• Experience working on slate or tiled pitched roofs.
• Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques and safety practices.
• Experience working at height.

Responsibilities

• Assist Electrician in Solar PV installation and related wiring tasks.
• Move and lift materials, run cables/conduit, grind tiles and remove waste.
• Support on-site safety and site housekeeping.
