Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is hiring a Roofers labourer/roofers mate to support solar installation projects. The role involves movement and lifting of materials, running cables and conduit, grinding tiles and waste removal while assisting the Electrician on site.

The ideal candidate has proven experience on slate/tile pitched roofs, knowledge of roofing materials and safety practices, and comfortable working at height.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a roofers labourer/roofers mate.
• Experience working on slate/tile pitched roofs.
• Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques and safety practices.
• Experience working at height.

Responsibilities

• Movement and lifting of materials, running cables/conduit, grinding tiles, waste removal and assisting the Electrician in Solar installation.
