Job Advertisement: Solar PV Manager

Position: Solar PV Manager

Location: Office-based with site visits, Bedfordshire

Hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Salary: Dependent on experience

Job Description:

Hays Recruitment is seeking a Solar PV Manager to oversee and develop our client's solar business. The ideal candidate will have experience in the solar PV industry and relevant qualifications. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Liaising with Site Teams: Coordinate with site teams for booked solar works, including installation of solar panels and inverters.
  2. Third-Party Coordination: Collaborate with third-party subcontractors for battery installations when needed.
  3. Material Preparation and Supervision: Prepare and supervise materials for delivery.
  4. Ordering Equipment: Procure solar panels, inverters, and ancillary items.
  5. Documentation: Produce Solar PV handover packs and generate MCS certificates.
  6. Audit Management: Liaise with and manage MCS audits.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
  • BPEC Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Small Scale Solar Photovoltaic Systems
  • City & Guilds 2922-34 accepted (willing to upskill to BPEC Level 3 for auditing and signing off)
