Our client, a well-established contractor in the residential and renewables sector, is looking for an experienced Solar PV Manager to take the lead on their solar operations. With a current solar division turnover of £1 million annually, they are seeking a dedicated individual to manage and grow this area of the business.

This is a permanent role, offering a competitive salary dependent on experience, along with car or car allowance, a pension scheme and 28 days’ holiday. The preferred candidate will be based within or near Bedfordshire and bring the relevant technical expertise outlined below.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with site teams for all scheduled solar works, including panel and inverter installations
  • Coordinating with third-party subcontractors for battery installations
  • Managing material procurement and supervising deliveries (solar panels, inverters, ancillary items)
  • Producing solar PV handover documentation and generating MCS certificates
  • Overseeing and managing MCS audits to ensure ongoing compliance

Ideally, the candidate will have:

  • Tech Rep qualification
  • A strong technical background in commercial or residential Solar PV systems
  • Experience leading or coordinating solar installations, particularly in new build environments
