Our client, a well-established contractor in the residential and renewables sector, is seeking an experienced Solar PV Manager to lead their solar operations. The company currently has a solar division with an annual turnover of £1 million, and they are looking for a dedicated individual to manage and expand this area.

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary based on experience, along with a car or car allowance, a pension scheme, and 28 days of holiday. The role is based in or near Bedfordshire, requiring relevant technical expertise as outlined below.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Liaising with site teams for all scheduled solar works, including panel and inverter installations.
2. Coordinating with third-party subcontractors for battery installations.
3. Managing material procurement and supervising deliveries of solar panels, inverters, and ancillary items.
4. Producing solar PV handover documentation and generating MCS certificates.
5. Overseeing and managing MCS audits to ensure ongoing compliance.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• 18th Edition BS7671 qualification.
• BPEC Solar PV certification.
• Tech Reps qualification.
• A strong technical background in commercial or residential Solar PV systems.
