Job summary

Net Zero Evolution is seeking a Solar PV Maintenance Electrician to service commercial solar PV sites nationwide from a home-based/field role, primarily across Reading and the South of England. You will perform preventative maintenance, fault finding and testing, and contribute to improving system reliability.

As you grow, you will gain expertise in battery storage and EV charging, supported by a strong technical team and ongoing training. A company vehicle is included.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 electrical qualification and current 18th Edition.
• Hands-on experience with commercial solar PV installation, commissioning or maintenance.
• Ability to fault find, inspect and test AC/DC systems on-site.
• Able to read technical drawings and write accurate maintenance reports.
• Willing to travel across the South of England.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance on solar PV sites.
• Fault find and repair issues to keep systems running.
• Inspect and test to ensure safety and compliance.
• Carry out maintenance across a varied portfolio of commercial sites.
