Job summary

Eko Talent is seeking a Solar PV Electrician to support maintenance of domestic and commercial solar PV assets in a UK-based operation. The role involves hands-on diagnostics, testing, and compliance with electrical safety standards, with a 60k salary plus overtime, a company van and fuel card.

Working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, you will contribute to fault diagnosis, inspections, and detailed reporting across residential and commercial sites, ensuring high system performance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on domestic and commercial solar PV systems
• Fault finding and diagnostics on inverters, transformers, LV/HV systems
• Testing and inspection (AC/DC systems)
• Thermographic inspections and string testing
• Monitoring plant performance and responding to alarms
• Completing detailed service reports and maintaining accurate records
• Supporting HV switching operations (where authorised)
• Ensuring full compliance with UK HSE and electrical safety standards
