Job summary

Eco2Solar seeks a Renewables Electrician to install PV systems, EV chargers, battery storage and related equipment for new build housing projects. The role involves daily site travel from Bury St Edmunds, with occasional overnight stays, and a strong focus on safety, quality and customer service.

You will join the UK’s leading solar PV installer, work in a supportive team, and progress your skills while delivering high-quality renewable energy solutions for developers and homeowners.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition electrical qualifications (BS7671).
• N/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (Building and Structures) OR a completed apprenticeship with AM2.
• CSCS/ECS Card for site works
• Experience in solar installations and/or domestic new builds.

Responsibilities

• Install PV systems and inverters, ensuring correct generation meters are in place.
• Submit paperwork accurately and on time; comply with MCS, safety, and quality standards.
• Travel daily to sites; overnight stays may be required and work within deadlines.

Education

N/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation

Completed apprenticeship with AM2
