Job summary

Cranleigh Scientific Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrician to join its renewable energy team, supporting Solar PV installation, operation and maintenance across UK sites.

This varied role covers low voltage installations, planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and performance monitoring, with weekend rota and travel to sites nationwide. The ideal candidate holds trad qualifications and 5+ years in the field, plus strong problem-solving and IT skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with Low Voltage electrical installations.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and complete Low Voltage electrical installations for Solar PV projects.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across sites.
• Monitor site performance and cover weekends as required.
• Identify, record and resolve electrical faults using a proactive approach.
• Analyse site performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Complete maintenance, fault and performance reports.
• Travel to project and operational sites throughout the UK.
