Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Solar PV Installer in Horsham, West Sussex. The role covers installing solar panels on a variety of roofs for domestic and commercial clients across the South-East.

You will work as part of a team and oversee two junior roofers on-site, ensuring quality and safety on every installation.

Qualifications

• Experienced in solar panel installations, ideally including both on-roof and in-roof panels.
• Comfortable supervising sites and overseeing the work of junior engineers.
• Strong background within roofing and ability to work across domestic and commercial roof types.

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels on domestic and commercial roofs, both on-roof and in-roof.
• Lead and supervise two junior roofers on-site as part of the team.
• Complete installations on tiled, slate, concrete tiles and flat roofs.
• Liaise with clients on site, provide project progress updates and address issues on site.

Salary: GBP40000 - GBP45000 per annum

Location: Horsham, West Sussex

We currently have an opportunity available to join a well-established renewable energy contractor who have specialised in the installation of Solar PV systems across the South-East to high-end domestic and commercial clients for over 20 years.

Solar PV Installer Job Overview

• Installing both on-roof and in-roof solar panels onto domestic and commercial roofs across West Sussex & parts of surrounding areas such as Kent & Surrey
• Working as part of a team and overseeing two junior roofers on-site
• Completing installations on a variety of roofs including tiled, slate, concrete tiles and flat roofs
• Liaising with domestic and commercial clients on site, including providing clear updates on project progress, answering technical questions and dealing with any issues on site

Solar PV Installer Job Requirements

• Experienced in solar panel installations, ideally including both on-roof and in-roof solar panels
• Comfortable in supervising sites and overseeing the work of junior engineers
• Strong background within the roofing industry and confident in working across a variety of domestic and commercial roof types
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Based within a commutable distance of Horsham, West Sussex

Solar PV Installer Salary & Benefits

• Basic salary £40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
• 30 days holiday, including bank holidays (increasing with tenure)
