Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD has a new role for a Solar PV Installer in Horsham, West Sussex. The position covers installation of solar panels on domestic and commercial roofs, with both on-roof and in-roof systems, across the South-East region.

You will work in a small team, supervise two junior roofers on-site, and liaise with clients to update on progress and resolve on-site issues. Salary £40,000-£45,000 DOE, van provided, 30 days holiday, lunch allowance £100/month.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in installing solar panels on rooftops, including on-roof and in-roof systems.
• Experience supervising sites and junior engineers.
• Strong roofing background across domestic and commercial roofs.

• Supervise two junior roofers on-site.

We currently have an opportunity available to join a well-established renewable energy contractor who have specialised in the installation of Solar PV systems across the South-East to high-end domestic and commercial clients for over 20 years.

Solar PV Installer Job Overview

• Installing both on-roof and in-roof solar panels onto domestic and commercial roofs across West Sussex & parts of surrounding areas such as Kent & Surrey
• Working as part of a team and overseeing two junior roofers on-site
• Completing installations on a variety of roofs including tiled, slate, concrete tiles and flat roofs
• Liaising with domestic and commercial clients on site, including providing clear updates on project progress, answering technical questions and dealing with any issues on site

Solar PV Installer Job Requirements

• Experienced in solar panel installations, ideally including both on-roof and in-roof solar panels
• Comfortable in supervising sites and overseeing the work of junior engineers
• Strong background within the roofing industry and confident in working across a variety of domestic and commercial roof types
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Based within a commutable distance of Horsham, West Sussex

Solar PV Installer Salary & Benefits

• Basic salary £40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
• Company van provided
• Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm (30-minute lunch break)
• 30 days holiday, including bank holidays (increasing with tenure)
• £100 a month lunch allowance
