Job summary

Aqumen Recruitment is seeking a Solar PV Installer for new build housing projects across the East Midlands. You will install and commission Solar PV systems on residential developments, working closely with site teams, project managers and quality teams to ensure safety and high standards.

The role offers regional travel with no overnight stays, a base salary of £45,000 plus £10,000 uncapped annual bonus and a company van, plus 25 days leave and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition BS7671 qualification is required.
• Experience installing Solar PV systems on residential builds is essential.
• Valid ECS/CSCS card and full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission Solar PV systems on new build housing developments.
• Perform electrical testing, commissioning, and fault finding on site.
• Ensure work complies with regulations and company standards.
• Maintain health and safety on site and complete documentation accurately.
• Collaborate with site managers, electricians and project teams.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Solar PV Installer to support the delivery of renewable energy systems across large-scale new build housing developments. The Role

Working in a regional capacity, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of Solar PV systems on new build residential developments. You'll work closely with site teams, project managers, and quality teams to ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

The role offers regional travel only, meaning you'll be home every night.

Essential Requirements

• 18th Edition qualified (BS7671)
• Previous Solar PV installation experience
• ECS/CSCS card

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Desirable
