Job summary

ersg is seeking a Power Systems Specialist focused on Design to design LV and HV systems for Solar projects in the UK. The role involves handling SLDs from initial concept through final design, managing grid connection applications, and liaising with DNOs to ensure grid compliance to G99 and G100 standards.

Qualifications

• Experience designing LV and HV electrical systems for solar projects.
• Experience with grid studies and grid connection processes.
• Experience liaising with DNO and ensuring G99/G100 compliance.
• Experience sizing DC/AC systems and selecting appropriate string designs and inverters.

Responsibilities

• Design LV and HV systems for solar projects from conception to final design.
• Create and manage SLDs for projects.
• Lead grid connection applications and coordinate with DNOs.
• Ensure grid compliance to relevant standards (G99/G100).
• Perform system sizing (DC/AC), string design and inverter selection.
