Job summary

ersg is seeking a Power Systems Specialist focused on Design to design LV and HV systems for Solar projects in the UK. The role involves handling SLDs from initial concept through final design, managing grid connection applications, and liaising with DNOs to ensure grid compliance to G99 and G100 standards.

ersg are working with a leading business in the Commercial & Industrial Solar sector to hire a Power Systems Specialist focused on Design. The client operates across the European market but is growing their UK team.

This role will see the successful candidate designing LV and HV systems for Solar projects; handling SLDs from beginning to final design. You will also be managing grid connection applications, and liaising with the DNO, whilst ensuring grid compliance to G99 and G100 standards. You will also be responsible for system sizing (DC and AC), string design and inverter selection.

Candidates MUST have a degree in Electrical Engineering, or a suitable field. Be able to demonstrate their experience in LV & HV system design, and have been involved in a portfolio of Utility-Scale Solar projects in the UK. You should also have a grasp of managing grid connection processes, and experience of grid studies.
