Job summary

Astute People is seeking a Field Service Engineer for renewable energy sites in Hampshire and Dorset. The role offers a salary of £30,000-£36,000 DOE, a company van, and an excellent progression opportunity into the utility-scale solar sector.

You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, electrical testing, site surveys, and ensure timely documentation. A full UK driving licence and electrical qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualifications or equivalent.
• C&G 2391 Testing and Inspection.
• 17th/18th edition wiring regulations.
• Full UK driving licence.
• At least 1 year in maintenance in industrial, commercial or domestic settings.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with planned inspection and maintenance.
• Performing reactive maintenance and fault diagnosis.
• Carrying out site surveys as required.
• Providing accurate documentation for stakeholders.
• Maintaining records of electrical testing and safety documents.
