Job summary

Construction is seeking experienced Solar Electricians for ongoing contract work across commercial and domestic projects in the UK. Roles include rooftop PV installations, inverter commissioning, and electrical work alongside roofing teams. Ideal candidates have NVQ3, 18th Edition, 2391, and solar PV experience, with own van and CIS/UTR credentials for self-employed contracts.

We offer immediate starts, weekly pay, and a long-term pipeline of work across multiple locations in the UK.

Qualifications

• Mandatory and preferred electrical qualifications for solar PV installations.
• Relevant regulatory and inspection qualifications required.
• Experience in residential and commercial solar projects beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial rooftop Solar PV systems and AC/DC electrical work.
• Install and commission inverters, work with installation teams.
• Deliver projects safely, on time and to spec.
• Carry out domestic/social housing solar installations as needed.

Requirements

• Previous Solar PV installation experience
• Own van and tools
• UTR & CIS registered

The RoleCommercial Solar

• Install commercial rooftop Solar PV systems.
• AC/DC electrical installation.
• Install and commission inverters.
• Work alongside roofing and installation teams to deliver projects safely and efficiently.

Domestic / Social Housing Solar

• Install residential Solar PV systems.
• Fit inverters, smoke alarms and extractor fans.
• Typical systems range from 5-7 panels.
• All surveys and materials are provided.
