Job summary

Graham Rose is seeking an experienced Electrician / Solar PV Installer to join our team delivering electrical and renewable energy projects across domestic and commercial properties in Oxfordshire.

You will install, commission and maintain Solar PV systems and energy storage solutions, diagnose faults, ensure compliance with BS7671, and work on a varied portfolio while progressing in the growing renewables sector. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• BPEC or City & Guilds qualifications in Solar PV and Electrical Energy Storage Systems.
• Proven experience installing Solar PV systems within domestic and commercial environments.
• Strong experience in electrical installation, fault finding, inspection, testing and rewiring.

Responsibilities

• Installing, commissioning and maintaining domestic and commercial Solar PV systems
• Carrying out electrical energy storage system (battery) installations
• Diagnosing and repairing faults on Solar PV and electrical systems
• Completing electrical installations, rewires, remedial works and maintenance
• Inspection, testing and verification of electrical installations
• Ensuring all work complies with current BS7671 Wiring Regulations and health and safety legislation
• Participating in a standby call-out rota

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrician / Solar PV Installer to join a well-established organisation delivering electrical and renewable energy projects across domestic and commercial properties. This role is ideal for a qualified electrician with strong Solar PV experience who is looking to work on a varied portfolio of renewable energy and electrical installation projects while developing their career within a growing sector.

Responsibilities

• Installing, commissioning and maintaining domestic and commercial Solar PV systems
• Carrying out electrical energy storage system (battery) installations
• Diagnosing and repairing faults on Solar PV and electrical systems
• Completing electrical installations, rewires, remedial works and maintenance
• Inspection, testing and verification of electrical installations
• Ensuring all work complies with current BS7671 Wiring Regulations and health and safety legislation
• Participating in a standby call-out rota
