Job summary

ZEISS is seeking a Software Tester to join a cross-site, multi-functional team working on imaging software for Windows 11. You will test and validate software for new product development and support existing products using modern technologies.

You will work with a range of testing activities, including automation, Windows desktop behaviour, deployment validation, and troubleshooting, in a collaborative environment that values growth and innovation.

Qualifications

• Experience with test automation is essential.
• Proficient in testing Windows desktop applications.
• Experience with deployment, installation and compatibility validation.
• Proficient with Visual Studio and Git.

You’ll be working alongside a cross-site multi-functional team working on our ZEN and SmartSEM Electron Microscope imaging software product on a modern Windows 11 based platform at . We are looking for multiple to be responsible for testing and validate software for new product development and to support existing products using modern technologies.

• Software testing in complex Windows environments
• Experience with test automation (essential) and C# or other programming languages
• Hardware and software integration testing
• Deployment, installation and compatibility validation
• Windows desktop application behaviour and troubleshooting
• Visual Studio and Git proficiency
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development and testing tools
