Job summary

ZEISS Group in the UK is seeking Software Testers to join ZEISS Microscopy Ltd. You will test software across Windows environments for the ZEN and SmartSEM imaging products on a modern Windows 11 platform.

The role requires hands-on testing, test automation in C#, and integration testing between hardware and software. You'll work with Visual Studio and Git, support installation and validation, and contribute to high-quality diagnostics and product reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience testing software in complex Windows environments.
• Experience with test automation and C# or other programming languages.
• Hardware and software integration testing experience.
• Deployment, installation and compatibility validation skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot Windows desktop applications.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio and Git, plus AI-assisted testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Test software for ZEISS imaging products on Windows platforms.
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts (essential).
• Perform hardware-software integration testing.
• Handle deployment, installation and compatibility validation.
• Troubleshoot Windows desktop application behavior.
