Job summary

ZEISS Group in Cambridge is seeking multiple Software Testers to join a cross-site, multi-functional team. You will test and validate software for new product development and support existing products on a Windows 11 platform for ZEN and SmartSEM imaging software, working with ZEISS Microscopy Ltd.

The role emphasizes test automation, hardware/software integration, deployment and compatibility validation, and troubleshooting of Windows desktop applications.

Qualifications

• Experience testing software in Windows-based desktop environments.
• Experience with test automation is essential.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted testing tools is advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting of desktop applications and installations.

Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing.

You’ll be working alongside a cross-site multi-functional team working on our ZEN and SmartSEM Electron Microscope imaging software product on a modern Windows 11 based platform at_ ZEISS Microscopy Ltd _. We are looking for multiple _ Software Testers _ to be responsible for testing and validate software for new product development and to support existing products using modern technologies.

• Software testing in complex Windows environments
• Experience with test automation (essential) and C# or other programming languages
• Hardware and software integration testing
• Deployment, installation and compatibility validation
• Windows desktop application behaviour and troubleshooting
• Visual Studio and Git proficiency
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development and testing tools
