We are seeking a proactive and skilled DevOps / Automation Testerto support mission-critical systems in a secure, high-assurance environment. This role offers the opportunity to work directly alongside customers, contributing to systems that make a tangible difference. You’ll be part of a collaborative, delivery-focused team that values innovation, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation solutions using tools such as Jenkins and Ansible
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and secure software delivery
• Write and maintain BASH scripts to automate deployments and routine tasks
• Collaborate closely with developers and infrastructure teams to ensure system reliability and maintainability
• Participate in testing efforts across functional and non-functional areas
• Dedicate 10% of your time to personal development, with flexibility to choose how and when

Essential Skills and Experience

• Proven experience with automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible)
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and tooling
• BASH scripting and Linux system administration experience
• Exposure to functional and non-functional testing methods
• Active or recently active DV (Developed Vetting) security clearance

Desirable Experience

• Experience working in or alongside a software development team
• Awareness of containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with GitLab or similar version control systems
• Exposure to network-focused software development
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle
