Job summary

Arm is seeking a Senior Software Technology Manager to define and prioritise software enablement and optimisation for key customers within Arm's software ecosystem. You will join our Central Engineering Software group and help shape roadmaps across software development, configuration, optimisation, productisation and delivery, collaborating with Project Managers, Architects and Product Managers worldwide.

You will gather use-cases, translate market needs into product plans, prioritise features

Qualifications

Experience creating and managing software requirements and ensuring delivery to quality standards.
Ability to articulate ideas and strategies with team members, customers, and suppliers.
Experience in firmware/OS/application development.
Motivation to work without supervision as part of a distributed team.
Willingness to travel up to 25% internationally.

Responsibilities

Evaluate the complete value chain of end customers, manufacturers, and designers of hardware, software, and systems, including productisation, support and QA.
Gather market segment needs and translate into product plans.
Collaborate with internal engineering teams and software vendors to prioritise features and enhancements.
Conduct competitive analysis comparing Arm solutions with competitors.
Evangelise the software offering in open-source communities and with customers and sales teams.
