This role involves working with MedPro's outsourced insurance application development team based in the UK. The manual testing specialist will collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure the quality of insurance software systems, particularly before releases to production.
The responsibilities include planning, developing, and executing functional test scenarios for policy management and claims handling systems, as well as interfacing systems, aligning with business needs. The role also entails creating test scripts for various testing types, documenting defects, and liaising with development and operations teams. Interaction across all functions within MedPro International is expected, and some travel may be required.
Required experience includes at least 5+ years in the London Market or insurance sector, and 3+ years in manual testing. Candidates should have IT troubleshooting skills, knowledge of web automation testing tools, and excellent stakeholder communication. Attention to detail, professionalism, and integrity are essential.
