Job summary

Marmion is offering a Software Implementation Specialist role focused on hire and rental software within a fast-growing AI SaaS environment. You’ll lead onboarding, configure AI-powered workflows, and train customers while collaborating with success, product, sales and development teams.

The role suits super-users or system administrators aiming to move into SaaS, with opportunities to progress across solutions consulting, implementation, customer success, product or technical support.

Qualifications

• Experience using, administering, supporting or implementing hire or rental management software.
• Experience supporting software users or implementing new systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communicating with both technical and non-technical users.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions.
• Exposure to APIs, integrations or webhooks would be advantageous.
• Comfortable working with Excel, Google Sheets and operational data.
• Previous implementation, onboarding or software training experience would be advantageous.
• A genuine interest in AI, automation and SaaS technology.
• Permanent Right to Work in the UK; visa sponsorship not available.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support the onboarding and implementation of new customers, including platform setup, configuration, testing and deployment.
• Understand customer processes and requirements, translating them into effective digital and automated workflows, including building, testing and optimising AI-powered solutions.
• Deliver platform training, demonstrations and ongoing guidance.
• Troubleshoot platform, workflow and integration issues.
• Analyse performance and recommend improvements based on customer usage and feedback.
• Work closely with Customer Success, Product, Sales and Development teams.
• Capture customer feedback and support improvements to the product and customer experience.
• Visit customer sites nationally when required.

Are you experienced in using hire or rental management software such as Syrinx, MCS Rental Software or inspHire?

Perhaps you've acted as a super-user, System Administrator or internal software champion, helping colleagues get more from the platform and improve operational processes.

We're supporting a fast-growing AI software business looking for someone to join its Customer Solutions team. This is an excellent opportunity to take your hire or rental software experience into SaaS onboarding, implementation and workflow automation.

You'll work closely with customers to understand their operations, map existing processes and configure AI-powered workflows around their requirements.

• Leeds - Office Based (remote working may be considered for the right candidate)
• £30,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Key responsibilities:

Key Skills & Experience:

• Experience using, administering, supporting or implementing hire or rental management software, such as Syrinx, MCS Rental Software, inspHire or similar. You may have gained this experience within plant hire, equipment rental, tool hire, vehicle rental, construction or another asset-hire environment.
• Experience supporting software users, improving processes or implementing new systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communicating with both technical and non-technical users.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
• Exposure to APIs, integrations or webhooks would be advantageous.
• Comfortable working with Excel, Google Sheets and operational data.
• Previous implementation, migration, onboarding or software training experience would be advantageous.
• A genuine interest in AI, automation and SaaS technology.
