Job summary

Airbus in Filton is offering an undergraduate internship in the Laboratory Test Means Components (TMC) development team. You will contribute to developing, modifying and maintaining test means components used on test benches across sites.

As a student in Electrical, Electronics/Mechatronics, or Software Engineering, you will gain hands-on experience, work with senior engineers, and develop skills in software, hardware and system integration while supporting new technologies and system evolutions.

Qualifications

Currently an undergraduate pursuing a degree in Electrical, Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering, Software Engineering or IT.
Must be able to work for the full duration of the placement.
Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to translate technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

End-to-end development of Test Means Components from requirements capture to software development and testing.
Troubleshooting test rigs, identifying root causes and implementing fixes.
Collaborate with experienced engineers and build a network across teams.
Support integration on test benches and assist with design improvements.
