Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Filton, Bristol, is offering a university placement year in industry. You will design and conduct tests on fuel and landing gear avionics test benches and support flight test analysis activities within the Fuel Systems Test Analysis team.

The role involves collaboration across Europe, agile testing, and providing design feedback for future aircraft. Applicants should be studying Engineering or Computer Science with strong data, programming, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Data analysis, report writing and presentation skills.
• Knowledge or experience of Programming languages (e.g. C, Python, TCL, Matlab, Google Apps Script);
• Excited by technical challenges and solving problems.
• Committed to deliver on time.
• Good interpersonal skills and capable of working as a team.

Responsibilities

• Lab Testing involvement: Define and validate lab test benches and analyze lab results.
• Flight Test Analysis: Support development and flight testing with telemetry and data review.
• Data Analytics: Apply data techniques to correlate design, test rig and flight data and develop analysis tools.
