Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Filton, Bristol offers a 12.5-month internship in the Laboratory Test Means Components (TMC) development team. You will contribute to the development, modification and maintenance of test means components used across our aircraft systems.

The placement is open to undergraduates for the full duration of the placement, with 35 hours per week, flexible/hybrid working options depending on the role and potential security clearances where applicable.

Qualifications

• Currently an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive.

Responsibilities

• End to end development of Test Means Components (TMC) from capture of requirements to specifying solutions, from software development to verification by testing, and finally integration on test rigs.
• Troubleshooting test rig issues, identifying root causes and implementing fixes.
• Working with highly experienced engineers to support your development and the chance to share knowledge within the team.
• Building your network by interacting with testers, architects and engineering teams across benches and projects.
