Job summary

Almac Group is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead the Information Services team in Craigavon. You will oversee delivery, support commitments and quality across software projects, driving efficient planning and lifecycle management.

The role requires leadership in regulated environments, capability in both Waterfall and Agile methods, and expertise with AI pipelines and toolchains. Internal and external collaboration will be essential for success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Proven track record delivering software projects on time and to quality in regulated environments.
Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Experience leading software engineering teams and managing delivery pipelines.
Experience managing AI pipelines and toolchains.
Eligibility to work in the UK without restrictions (or valid work permit).

Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of software engineering professionals across projects.
Ensure delivery dates, support commitments and quality requirements are met.
Provide visibility of delivery status and ensure effective planning of software development lifecycle.
