Job summary

Almac Group is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to join our Information Services team. You will lead a team of software engineers, ensuring delivery dates, quality and resourcing across the development lifecycle.

The role requires strong line management, delivery management in regulated environments, and experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Experience with AI pipelines and toolchains is desirable. Closing date 2026-09-03.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the UK with no restrictions OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time employment in the UK
• Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related subject
• Experience in leading the delivery of software development projects, including support and maintenance with a proven record for on time delivery
• Experience working within a highly regulated environment
• Experience of working within Waterfall and Agile Software Development Methodologies
• Experience of managing AI pipelines and toolchains

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Software Engineering professionals to ensure project delivery dates, support commitments and quality requirements are achieved

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to join our Information Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and support a team of Software Engineering professionals.
