Job summary

Almac Group in Craigavon is hiring Software Engineers to work on impactful, real-world healthcare solutions. This opportunity spans backend, frontend, or full-stack development and offers exposure to modern technologies within a growing global organisation.

You will contribute to Java-based applications (Spring / Spring Boot), Oracle SQL, and robust SDLC/CI-CD practices, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong Java experience with Spring/Spring Boot.
  • Experience with SQL and Oracle databases.
  • Knowledge of OOP principles and CI/CD practices.
  • Ability to work across teams and communicate effectively.

What You Need To Be Successful
  • You will be a motivated and detail‑oriented Software Engineer with strong technical expertise and a passion for delivering high‑quality solutions.
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time, permanent employment in the UK
  • Degree in Computer Science (or related discipline)
  • Strong experience developing applications using Java (Spring / Spring Boot)
  • Experience with SQL and specifically Oracle technologies
  • Experience applying Object‑Oriented Programming principles
  • Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines and full SDLC delivery
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
