ASMPT SMT UK Limited in Weymouth is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Research and Development team. You will maintain and develop software for printing solutions, factory line controls, and related modules. The role emphasizes a practical engineering approach and collaboration across teams.

You will work on design, development and validation activities while contributing to continuous improvement and maintaining technical competence in a dynamic, global electronics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent Level 6 qualification.
• Experience with design and validation of engineering requirements.
• Proficient with source control systems and the SDLC.
• Strong object-oriented programming and UML knowledge.
• Proficient in C#/.NET and related tooling.

• Maintain and extend a sound theoretical approach to enable development and application of technology.
• Apply evidence-based problem solving and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Identify, review, and select techniques and methods for engineering tasks.
