Job summary

Evri is recruiting a Software Engineer to design, build and scale our digital platforms with a backend focus on Java and Spring Boot. Qualifications

• Commercial experience delivering production-grade software.
• Strong backend development with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and scalable services.
• Exposure to modern frontend technologies, ideally Vue.js.
• Experience working with Node.js.
• Good understanding of software design principles and engineering best practices.
• Experience writing automated tests and maintaining code quality.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Experience working within Agile environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git and DevOps principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality software solutions.
• Deliver features from concept to deployment and support.
• Build scalable APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Contribute to frontend development using Vue.js where required.
• Develop and maintain applications and services using Node.js.
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers and Delivery teams.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automation and DevOps practices.
• Troubleshoot issues and improve system performance, reliability and maintainability.
