Raytheon UK is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in London to design and build enterprise software in an agile, cross‑functional team. The role requires active eDV clearance and onsite work with potential remote/hybrid options depending on role and site requirements.

Applicants should have strong Java/Spring Boot experience, modern frontend skills (React/Vue), cloud and DevOps capabilities, and experience with Docker/Kubernetes, IaC tools, and data platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Agile delivery environment.
• Java development with Spring Boot.
• Frontend development with modern JS frameworks (React/Vue).
• Experience building enterprise web applications or backend services.
• Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and DevOps practices.
• Containerisation with Docker/Kubernetes and IaC tooling (Terraform/Ansible).
• Working with SQL and NoSQL databases; data concepts knowledge.
• Messaging/streaming systems (Kafka) and data visualisation basics.
• Quality practices: unit testing and test automation; Git workflows.
