Job summary

Schlumberger Limited is seeking a Software Engineer Intern (6 months) in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, starting Summer 2027. You will work on subsurface monitoring for CO2 storage and geothermal projects, developing software that links subsurface science with surface data using ML pipelines.

You will gain hands-on experience deploying models, building end-to-end data pipelines, and creating visual tools for engineers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in CS or related field.
• Experience with backend services and automated deployment pipelines.
• Experience building data-visualization components for frontend.
• Familiarity with ML concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Join a team building software for subsurface monitoring of CO2 storage and geothermal projects.
• Develop and deploy ML-driven models and data pipelines.
• Create intuitive UIs and visualizations for engineers; ensure quality and performance.
