SLB is seeking a Data Scientist Intern for a 12-month program starting Summer 2027 in Cambridge, UK. The role focuses on developing an engineering database to support drilling performance analysis and technology development.

You will work with real-world engineering datasets, collaborate with researchers and engineers, and transform raw field data into actionable insights while enhancing data quality and accessibility.

Formación

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Engineering, CS, Data Science, Mathematics or Physics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset.
• Experience with data analysis and understanding of databases.
• Familiarity with machine learning or numerical modelling is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse drilling performance data and identify factors affecting low-performing runs.
• Integrate new datasets into the engineering database to improve accessibility.
• Support data processing activities for engineering and modelling applications.
