Job summary

MBDA is offering an on-site software engineering programme starting September 2027, with four placements across embedded and frontend development. You will work with C, C++, C#, and Java on Windows and Linux platforms, gaining broad exposure to the software life cycle and agile methods.

The role requires a Computing/CS degree (2:2) or similar STEM, and offers a 2-year programme with national-level security checks (BPSS) and a starting salary of £31,900 plus a joining bonus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computing/CS or related STEM with 2:2 or above.
• Willingness to learn software lifecycle and agile delivery.
• Interest in embedded and front-end software development.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for weapon systems across Windows/Linux and embedded/frontend.
• Ensure robustness and quality of project deliverables.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and learn the business.
