Job summary

MBDA in the UK is offering a one-year placement starting September 2027 in the Software team. You will contribute to high-integrity software for weapon systems, covering embedded and front-end development on Windows and Linux with C, C++, C#, and Java.

The role is on-site five days per week with a salary of £24,460 and a strong benefits package including pension, flexi-leave, 25 days annual leave, healthcare, and learning support.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate studying towards a degree in Computing/Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or STEM.
• Programing across embedded and front-end software for weapon systems.
• Exposure to software development lifecycle and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams across development stages in embedded and frontend software on Windows and Linux.
• Learn and apply software development lifecycle practices.
• Develop robust, well-documented code and contribute to project deliverables.
• Gain broad understanding of MBDA business and products.
