Job summary

Faculty is seeking a Software Engineer to scale the Frontier Decision Intelligence platform. You will work on a scalable AI-focused product enabling organisations to make high-impact decisions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver features that impact real-world processes.

You will contribute to core technology, APIs, and user experiences, using Python and TypeScript, in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with hybrid working arrangements and a focus on quality engineering.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong back-end experience in Python or Node with front-end in TypeScript/React.
• Solid understanding of system architecture, design and automated testing across the test pyramid.
• Significant experience with PostgreSQL and CI/CD with GitLab.
• Proactive collaborator with cross-functional teams to deliver customer outcomes.
• Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive core technical contributions to the Frontier platform within a cross-functional Solutions squad.
• Design and implement customer-facing Frontier features, including APIs and SaaS experiences.
• Build reusable, production-grade solutions using Python and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Managers and Designers to implement features.
• Lead the technical implementation and architecture of features with focus on quality and scalability.
• Tackle complex real-world problems with state-of-the-art technology to drive change.
