Job summary

Applied Intuition Defence UK is seeking a software engineer to join the UK engineering team, designing, developing, and deploying high-performance C++ software for autonomy and defence. You will work with forward deployment teams in the field and help translate customer requirements into robust solutions.

You will collaborate with engineers and customers, build and test code, and contribute to automation and deployment pipelines while maintaining security clearances and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/related engineering field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing performant modern C++.
• Strong procedural and object-oriented programming experience with clean code principles.
• Experience developing in Docker and Linux-based operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize high-performance libraries, modules, and products, through from incubation to production.
• Write, test, and debug efficient modern C++ code for complex software solutions with the help of AI tooling.
• Work closely with product managers and customers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Contribute to build automation, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines, as needed.
• Build awesome software that you are proud of.
